Safety-Silv®40

RECOMMENDED FLUX:
Stay Silv® white flux is suitable for most applications. Stay Silv® black brazing flux is often used if brazing stainless steel or where heating cycles are prolonged or focused as in induction brazing. Harris ECO SMART™ boric acid free flux is an excellent choice to promote sound brazed assemblies and comply with European REACH requirements.

Safety Silv 40 is also available as a flux coated rod. The extruded flux coating provides a convenient flux application method and eliminates the extra step of manually fluxing parts. Flux coated rods provide a limited amount of the flux necessary to protect parts during heating. Because of this flux coated rod use may be limited to smaller assemblies.
