Product details
ECO SMART® Flux Brazing Flux HARRIS
ECO SMART® Flux is formulated for brazing a wide range of metals including steel, stainless steel, Monel®, nickel, copper, brass, bronze, and other ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. It is compatible with Stay-Silv®, Safety-Silv®, and other brazing filler metals, providing dependable joint protection and filler metal flow.
This high-heat flux performs well in applications involving long heating cycles or localized high-temperature conditions such as induction brazing. Its fluid nature allows it to penetrate very tight joints while preventing oxidation throughout the brazing process.
The flux resists recrystallization and hardening, maintaining smooth application characteristics. It may also be thinned with water when needed. Flux residue should be removed after brazing to ensure clean finished joints.
